UK NHS services: what is available?
To any UK M2F transitioning women here, I need advice. I'm an older trans woman at the start of it all and I've booked to see my GP to find out what's available on the NHS. Can anyone suggest what I might ask for at this early stage? My nearest GIC has a 41-month waiting list so I'd like to get on that right away but I would very much like voice feminisation lessons a.s.a.p. with a proper coach. Should I give my GP a list of UK coaches? I'm interested in hormone treatment, too. Would my GP know much about that?
